About Lilibeth

One of the sweetest sounds is when somebody greets and calls you by your name. I like my name because it has a special meaning that closely describe me.

LILIBETH = From a Hebrew named Elizabeth, the name means means “Pledge to God”

Always has room in her heart for others. She dreams big but keeps it simple. She is respected by many who know her. Does not let her anger show toward others. When challenged, she likes doing her best. Quick minded and often very clever. Her appearance shows confidence in herself. She lives a fulfilling life.

My maiden name was Lilibeth C. Bartolo, but I became Lilibeth B. Lins when I tied the knot to my better half Greg Lins on June 9, 2007.

I was born in Philippines and grew up in Roxas City, Province of Capiz (Region VI).  My Mom gave birth to me on December 24, 1976, very close to Christmas Eve. I am the youngest among the three siblings. I am a loyal alumni of Filamer Christian College. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy. For leisure, I took Spanish class (1st Semester/Basic) at Silliman University, Dumaguete City, Philippines.

My parents describe me as very loving, sweet and very thoughtful daughter. I am a very supportive, sensitive and a good sister to my siblings and even to my nieces and nephews. Employers, co-workers and friends describe me as professional, courteous, hard working, detail oriented, kind and a good listener. I am open-minded, honest and ethical. I am also compassionate. As a person, I like constructive feedback. It will help you realize and improve yourself to become a better person.

One of the biggest achievements I have in life is when I accepted Jesus as my Lord and personal savior. My life changed completely for the better. Another big change was saying goodbye to my singleness and opening another new chapter of my life and that is being a wife.

I am happily married and very grateful to have a loving, supportive, almost perfect (for me) husband. Truly a gift from heaven.

Moving to the United States last year was a big change too.  I miss my friends and family in Philippines. Having the support of my husband and the new friends I’ve been making makes it a lot easier.

So that’s a little about me.  As I like to say, “It’s me, Lilibeth.

Senior momment…I was about to say I’m from Negros Occ. originally so I know how to speak Hiligaynon. I think Capiz has almost the same dialect. I now live in California hoping to be in the Philippines soon. My husband is a 2nd generation Puerto Rican/Irish born in New York and I am lucky that he wants to retire in the Philippines.
